‘Relationships: Understanding Your Personality Type’

When: Thursday, April 27, 2017, 19:00
Where: Bruder Klaus Church, Ostring 1A, 3006 Bern

Talk Description: Sometimes we feel strongly attracted toward someone but at the same time have difficulty communicating with them. This may be because we are of opposite personality types. This talk will give a brief overview of Swiss psychologist Carl Jung’s theory of psychological types, and explain how a better understanding of our own unique combination of extraversion/introversion, thinking, feeling, sensation and intuition can enhance our ability to solve conflicts and build good relationships.

Patricia Skar, BMus, MFA, Dipl. Analytical Psych., C. G. Jung Institute Zurich, is a Jungian psychoanalyst in private practice in Thun and Zurich. She has lectured widely in a variety of clinical and academic settings and has published a number of articles on Jungian psychology and the relationship between music and analytic processes.
